Hunter Sauce Mix

 

RC Hunter Sauce Mix is a light brown paste flavored with vegetables and other seasonings. When prepared with water, it yields a rich brown Hunter or Chasseur sauce.

Product Usage

RC Hunter Sauce may be served as is or used as a base for other brown sauces. Marsala, Madeira, and Chasseur are just a few sauces that can be prepared using RC Hunter Sauce. Contact RC Fine Foods for recipe ideas or suggested uses.

To prepare, 1 jar of RC Hunter Sauce Mix is added to 2 gallons of water and heated to a boil while whisking. The prepared sauce can be held on a steam table or refrigerated for later use. Smaller quantities may be prepared.

Packaging

Product is packaged in plastic jars or pails with a lot number and "packed on" date.
