Hollandaise Sauce is a classic, smooth egg-emulsion sauce lightly flavored with lemon and served warm. RC Hollandaise Sauce Mix is a light yellow powder that yields a rich and flavorful Hollandaise Sauce when prepared per the package instructions. RC Hollandaise is easy to prepare and will not “break” or separate when held on a steam table.
Hollandaise Sauce is traditionally served with fish, vegetable and egg dishes. A classic example is Eggs Benedict. RC Hollandaise may be used as a Grand or Mother Sauce to create Sauce Bernaise, and a multitude of other sauces. Contact RC Fine Foods for recipe ideas.
One package is prepared by heating contents in a double-boiler with 1 ½ quarts of water. Only a pot made of stainless steel or other non-reactive material should be used. The sauce is finished with 1 lb. of butter.
Product is packaged in foil laminate bags with lot number and “packed on” date.
