A coulis is a thick puree or sauce. Fruit coulis can be used as a dessert sauce or a plate garnish. RC Mango Coulis Mix is a light yellow powder containing dehydrated mangos. It prepares easily with water to create a flavorful, golden yellow mango coulis fruit sauce that can be used immediately. It is packed in a 1-pint squeeze bottle, with a dropper top, that serves as both a mixing and application container. When dry, the product may be stored at room temperature.
A coulis is used to create exciting plate presentations for both savory and dessert dishes. By using the dropper top, a thin line of coulis can be plated to create designs, or added as a finishing fruit sauce. Several flavors may be used for an attractive color contrast.
