RC Matzo Ball Mix is a dry mix containing matzo meal, leavening agents and seasonings. Prepared as directed, it yields consistently light and tender matzo balls. This product is certified as Kosher Pareve by Star-K.
Matzo Balls are traditionally served with chicken soup.
To prepare, bring 5 gallons of chicken soup to a boil. Meanwhile, blend 20 large eggs and 2½ cups vegetable oil with the mix. Refrigerate mixture for 15 minutes. Form mixture into 1 inch balls and drop into the simmering soup. Cook for 30 minutes. Keep refrigerated if not serving immediately.
