A light brown granular base made with mushroom extract and dehydrated mushrooms. When prepared RC Mushroom Base creates a rich brown stock with the flavor and aroma characteristic of mushrooms. It is plant-based (vegan) and contains no meat, dairy or egg products. This base has no added monosodium glutamate (MSG) except that which is naturally occurring. Made in the USA.
Use this base sparingly to add the distinctive flavor and aroma of mushrooms. Season foods by dissolving base in water or other liquids. This base will enhance stocks, soups, sauces, gravies, and stews. Use to season dressings, dips, spreads, vegetables, and rice. Packaged in BPA/Phthalate-free HDPE jars or pails. Each package has a lot code and “Best If Used By” date.
