Chocolate Ganache Flan
20-4oz. portions
Ingredients
- 1 qt. prepared Raspberry Coulis Mix
- ½ tsp. Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tbsp. instant coffee
- 24 oz. prepared Cappuccino Mousse Mix
- 1 lb. coarsely chopped dark chocolate
- ¾ cup sweet butter
- 2 quarts cold milk
- 1 package No Bake Custard Mix
Instructions
- 1 In a saucepan, dissolve the |NoBakeCustard| in the milk. Bring to a gentle simmer, stirring constantly to avoid scorching.
- 2 In a double boiler large enough to hold the entire recipe, melt the chocolate, butter, Vanilla Extract and instant coffee.
- 3 Once the custard has simmered, slowly pour the hot custard into the double boiler over the melted chocolate mixture.
- 4 Whisk until fully incorporated. Immediately ladle into serving dishes or molds.
- 5 For best results, chill overnight. Unmold onto dessert plate and garnish by piping a rosette of |CappucinoMouseMix| on top.
- 6 Sprinkle the rim of the plate with cocoa powder and decorate with Raspberry Coulis Mix.
