Bordelaise Sauce Variation

Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. chopped shallots
- ½ tsp. thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- ½ tsp. whole peppercorns
- 3 cups red wine
- 3 cups prepared Instant Brown Gravy
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. cold butter
- 4 oz. poached, diced bone marrow
Instructions
- 1 Reduce by two-thirds.
- 2 Strain and add the prepared No Added MSG Instant Brown Gravy Mix and lemon juice.
- 3 Finish with whole butter.
- 4 Garnish with poached marrow.
