- 2 lbs. Brussels sprouts
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 8 oz. pancetta or bacon
- 4 oz. thinly sliced onion
- 2 tsp. chopped garlic
- to taste No Added MSG Harvest Vegetable Base
- 1 Clean and blanch the sprouts in plenty of boiling salted water.
- 2 Drain well.
- 3 Render the pancetta in the olive oil.
- 4 Add sliced onion and chopped garlic then caramelize.
- 5 Add sprouts and cook stirring frequently until Brussel sprouts are tender.
- 6 Season with RC Harvest Vegetable Base.
