Crab Cakes
Ingredients
- 1 egg
- ¼ small diced red pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 8 drops Lemongrass Flavor
- 1 lb. jumbo lump crabmeat
- vegetable oil for sautéing
- ½ tsp. Worcestshire sauce
- 3 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. Crab Base
- 4 bias cut scallions
- 1½ tsp. chopped garlic
- 6-10 drops Jalapeño Flavor
- 1¼ cups fresh white breadcrumbs
- ¼ small diced green pepper
Instructions
- 1 Combine the egg, RC Lemongrass Flavor, RC Jalapeño Flavor, chopped garlic, RC Crab Base, mustard, mayonnaise and Worcestershire sauce and mix well.
- 2 Add the cleaned crabmeat, peppers, scallions and half of the breadcrumbs and toss gently.
- 3 Adjust the consistency with breadcrumbs.
- 4 Shape into cakes and sauté until lightly browned on both sides.
