Gingered Tomato Jam
Ingredients
- ½ tsp. No Added MSG Liquid Vegetable Consommé Prep
- 1 Tbsp. lime juice
- ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
- 2 lbs. plum tomatoes, seeded and small diced
- 4-6 drops Lemongrass Flavor
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 4-6 drops Cilantro Flavor
- 2 tsp. chopped garlic
- ½ cup chopped shallots
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1+ Tbsp. Ginger Puree
Instructions
- 1 Slowly brown the chopped shallots and the chopped garlic in the olive oil.
- 2 Add the tomatoes, pepper and lime juice.
- 3 Simmer over low heat 10-15 minutes.
- 4 Remove from the heat and add remaining ingredients.
- 5 Mix well, serve warm.
