Maple Pecan Rice

Serves: 10-12 portions


  • 1 oz. pecan halves
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cups white rice
  • 1 quart prepared Chicken Base of your choice
  • ½ tsp. Maple Flavor


  1. 1 Toss the rice in the oil until well coated.
  2. 2 Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  3. 3 Cover and bake in a preheated 350° oven for 15-20 minutes or until tender.
  4. 4 Serve as is or use as a stuffing for poultry or pork.
