Maple Pecan Rice
- 1 oz. pecan halves
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cups white rice
- 1 quart prepared Chicken Base of your choice
- ½ tsp. Maple Flavor
- 1 Toss the rice in the oil until well coated.
- 2 Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- 3 Cover and bake in a preheated 350° oven for 15-20 minutes or until tender.
- 4 Serve as is or use as a stuffing for poultry or pork.
