Marsala Sauce

Serves: approximately 1 quart


  • 2 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 3 Tbsp. chopped shallots
  • 8 oz. sliced white mushrooms
  • 6 oz. Marsala
  • 1 qt. prepared Demi Glace Sauce Mix


  1. 1 Heat the oil and sauté the chopped shallots and mushrooms.
  2. 2 Add half of the wine and reduce until almost dry.
  3. 3 Add the prepared |demiglacesauce|, remaining wine and simmer for 15–20 minutes.
