Mushroom Sauce Variation
approximately 1½ quarts
Ingredients
- 1 quart prepared Instant Brown Gravy
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 4 oz. sliced mushrooms
- ¼ cup chopped shallots
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Instructions
- 1 Sauté the chopped shallots and sliced mushrooms.
- 2 Add white wine and reduce by two-thirds.
- 3 Add the prepared Instant Brown Gravy, tomato puree and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- 4 Finish with chopped parsley.
