Pear Vinaigrette

Serves: approximately 3 quarts

Ingredients

  • 1 package Siena Vinaigrette Dressing Mix
  • 1 qt. canned pear puree
  • 1 qt. Champagne vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp. whole grain mustard
  • 4 cups olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh orange zest
  • 1 Tbsp. No Added MSG Roasted Garlic Base

Instructions

  1. 1 In a mixing bowl add all ingredients and blend together.
  2. 2 Refrigerate for several hours before use.
  3. 3 Keep finished dressing refrigerated.

Notes

•  Substitute Pumpkin Oil or Olive Oil •  Use half balsamic vinegar, half red wine or half raspberry vinegar •  Use cider vinegar •  Add finely chopped candied pecans •  Add orange juice & honey •  For a creamy dressing use sour cream or crème fraiche
