Low Sodium Turkey & Rice Soup

Low Sodium Turkey & Rice Soup Serves: 1+ gallons

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 4 oz. turkey, small diced
  • 3 carrots, small diced
  • 2 medium onions, small diced
  • 2 ribs celery, small diced
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 tsp. chopped garlic
  • 3 quarts prepared Turkey Base
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp. thyme
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp. rubbed sage
  • 1 tsp. chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1½ cups boiled rice
  • ground white pepper

Instructions

  1. 1 Heat the oil and sauté the turkey, vegetables and chopped garlic.
  2. 2 Add the prepared Turkey Base, herbs and cooked rice.
  3. 3 Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  4. 4 Adjust the seasoning with pepper.
