Gluten Free Roast Turkey Breast with GF Turkey Gravy Serves: 1 delicious and Gluten-Free Turkey Breast with a quart of rich Gluten-Free Turkey Gravy


  • 1 boneless turkey breast
  • ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp. minced fresh thyme, rosemary & parsley
  • pinch RC Umami Sensations® Mirepoix Powder
  • pinch RC Umami Sensations® Kombu Powder
  • 1 oz. olive oil For the Gluten Free Turkey Gravy
  • pan drippings from roasted turkey breast
  • 1 qt. prepared RC Hearty Foundations® Reserve Gluten Free Turkey Broth
  • 2¼ oz. RC Hearty Foundations® Gluten-Free Roux


  1. 1 Butterfly turkey breast and remove any excess fat.
  2. 2 Mix pepper, minced fresh herbs and both RC Umami Sensations® Mirepoix and Kombu Powders together.
  3. 3 Season butterflied turkey with seasoning, reserving a dusting.
  4. 4 Roll and tie seasoned turkey breast and place in a shallow roasting pan skin side up.
  5. 5 Coat skin with olive oil and season with reserved dusting of seasoning mixture.
  6. 6 Roast in a pre-heated 350° F oven until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  7. 7 Let roasted turkey breast rest at least 10 minutes before slicing to keep moist.
  8. 8 For the Gluten-Free Gravy:
  9. 9 Pour quart of prepared hot RC Hearty Foundations® Reserve Gluten Free Turkey Broth into the pan the turkey breast was roasted in and stir to dissolve all the browned and caramelized bits on the bottom of the roasting pan.
  10. 10 In a sauce pan add the RC Hearty Foundations® Gluten Free Roux and heat stirring to brown the roux to a light brown.
  11. 11 Add liquid from deglazing roasting pan to browned roux while whisking and bring mixture to a simmer for 10- 15 minutes.
  12. 12 Strain gravy and remove any excess surface fat.
